The system millions spent their childhood on is coming back to stores. Nintendo of America announced via Twitter today that the company is re-releasing the Nintendo Entertainment System (AKA the NES) in stores later this year. The NES Classic Edition will come preloaded with 30 games, including Final Fantasy, Punch-Out, two Zelda Games, Donkey Kong and Super Mario Bros. 1 - 3. A full list of games included with the console can be found here.
As shown in the picture above, the NES Classic Edition is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and will come with special retro controllers, which are also compatible with the Wii U. A Wii U Classic controller is also compatible with the console.
No price information was given for the retro console, but it will be available for purchase on November 11th.
