The Simpsons & Futurama Creator Matt Groening In Taks To Develop Netflix Animated Series

According to Deadline, Netflix is in negotiations with Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons and Futurama, to develop an animated series for them.
"Details about the project, which Groening will create and write, are being kept under wraps," they add.
Netflix is trying to corner the market on talent and expand their slate of animated shows, which include BoJack Horseman, F Is for Family and the upcoming Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham.
The Simpsons airs Sunday nights on Fox.
