Paramount is assembling quite the collection of writers for their upcoming Transformers cinematic universe, which will feature The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.
In March, we learned that Paramount was developing a cinematic universe for the Transformers that would rival Marvel's. This universe will included multiple sequels for the Mark Wahlberg led film series as well as spinoff films.
Today, Deadline is reporting that the studio has chosen the writers that will pen it. The names include Robert Kirkman, who is best known for creating The Walking Dead; Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, the pair that wrote Iron Man; Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand) who has written numerous comic book movies scripts; and Amazing Spider-Man 2's Jeff Pinkner.
Transformers 5 is expected to arrive 2017.
