Wil Wheaton Cast In Powers Season 2

Wil Wheaton has joined the cast of Powers Season 2, IGN reports.

Wheaton's character will be appearing in the Powers comic book series in the near future. While creator and series Executive Producer Brian Michael Bendis has not revealed the character's name, he is described as "exciting, mysterious and powerful."

Wheaton is known to fans for his roles on Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Big Bang Theory, and webseries such as TableTop and Titansgrave.

Season 2 of Powers will follow the "Who Killed Retro Girl?" story from the comics, with the Powers Division investigating the murder of the world famous superhero.

Powers Season 2 will premiere on the PlayStation Network in 2016.
