It has taken quite some time, but things are starting to get underway for the 'Universal Survival' arc. The storyline got started back in February, and fans are now getting to watch as Goku recruits some of his powerful allies to fight in a high-stakes multiverse martial arts tournament. With the fate of Universe 7 at risk, Goku is willing to do whatever needs to be done to hire his friends. And, now, it looks like Goku will have to help Tien Shinhan out if he wants the Earthlings help.

In a new synopsis for an upcoming Dragon Ball Super episode, fans learn that Goku will have to recruit Master Roshi and Tien at the same time. You can read up on the synopsis for Dragon Ball Super's 89th episode below:

"Gokuu goes to scout Turtle Hermit, and asks Tenshinhan since he's there as well. However, there's some sort of trouble going on at the dojo Tenshinhan is running?!"

If you are wondering what kind of trouble Goku will run into, it seems like it will be of the female persuasion. A previous synopsis for episode 89 said that Goku goes to Tien's dojo to confront Roshi, but he is overshadowed by a beautiful young lady named Yurin. The girl may make things difficult for Goku if he can't pull Roshi's attention away from the girl. Or, if things get too dicey, she may even cause problems for Tien's training studio.

Dragon Ball Super recently kicked off the 'Universal Survival' saga. You can check out the brief synopsis for it below:

"At Goku's request, the Omni-Kings' "Tournament of Power" martial arts tournament between universes now begins! …But this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquished…?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn out…?!"

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
