Hot Topic Launches A 'Princess Mononoke' Fashion Collection

Hot Topic has tapped their Her Universe brand to launch an exclusive fashion collection inspired by the Studio Ghibli classic Princess Mononoke. There is a lot to love about it.

The majority of the collection is available to order now, though a wolf sweater previewed in the video below will be added soon. Plus size options are included for some of the styles, and we hope that the rest of the collection follows suit.

Hot Topic's entire Princess Mononoke collection includes dresses, skirts, leggings, sweaters, shirts and jewelry, but the new San vest is definitely one of our favorite items. It features a hood and toggle tie front closure, and would look great when riding a wolf… or taking an Uber ride downtown.

Another one of our favorite new items in the Princess Mononoke collection is the Forest Dress. It features mesh inserts at the neckline that are designed to remind you of San's necklace. The bodice is fitted with princess seams, cap sleeves, and a keyhole opening on the back. The layered chiffon skirt features a forest border design that includes hidden kodama, the prince's elk, and San riding a wolf. It even has pockets!
