As we get closer to seeing Zack Snyder's ultimate cut of his DC Cinematic Universe launching pad Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, more and more people who have seen the new version are weighing in.

That includes Batman V Superman Cinematographer Larry Fong, who let his matter of fact opinion about the new version be known on Twitter, saying: "Those of you who are fans, will dig it. If you hated it, you'll still hate it."

It's interesting just because of how blunt he is about the whole thing. If someone had issues with certain plot holes or gaps in the film, you'd imagine the extra 30 minutes of footage contained in the ultimate edition would help smooth some of those issues over. If you have any interest in Justice League, the footage will also be worth watching just so you can meet the (rumored) main villain of the upcoming team film as his appearance in Batman V Superman was cut out for time reasons.

The Ultimate Edition will carry an R-rating, and will be released on Digital HD and Ultra HD Blur-ray soon. Aside from a few more fleshed out character moments and more Wonder Woman (always a good thing), the new cut will also show Jena Malone's character who was also left out from the theatrical release. You can see the included features below.
