Blue Beetle Fans Freaking Out Over Character's Movie Suit

Saturday brought forth the second annual DC FanDome event, giving fans a sneak peek or first look at much of DC Comics' multimedia efforts from film to television and publishing. Those sneak peeks included the first official look at the suit Jaime Reyes will in the upcoming Blue Beetle feature film. Suffice to say, Reyes fans are freaking out.

"The only thing that is on my mind right now is just the fact that he's Latino. I have so much pride in getting to be a part of this project with Angel, someone like him," Beetle star Xolo Maridueña previously told Variety. "I think it's so important, and I don't want to stand on the soapbox for too long but representation is so important."

He added, "It's such a great opportunity, and I'm not going to take it lightly, and we're about to make a kick-ass movie."
