Funko Reveals Batgirl And Legends Of Tomorrow Pops

Funko continues to expand their DC line of POP! vinyl collectible figures and their newest wave includes a fan-favorite and a few members of one of their popular CW television series.

That fan favorite is none other than Batgirl, but for their latest interpretation of the character, the team at Funko decided to go to Burnside (via Legion of Collectors). The newest version of the character debuted during the New 52 and got a costume fitting of her new surroundings. The costume is still around, and their newest POP perfectly encaptures it.

Funko's sculpts continue to improve, especially when you compare this Batgirl to the original figure that debuted towards the beginning of the line.

Funko is also spotlighting The CW's Legends of Tomorrow, with the newest wave including The Atom, Hawkman, White Canary, and Firestorm. Hawkman and Firestorm again show off the improved styling in Hawk's wings and Firestorm's flame effects. The only negative of the set is that White Canary is basically a repaint of the Arrow Black Canary that was previously released.

Batgirl of Burnside will be available starting in September, while the Legends of Tomorrow set will be available in stores sometime in October. In the meantime, check out the entire wave in the gallery.
