Grant Gustin is turning 27 years old today!

Fans are most familiar with Gustin's work as the speedster Barry Allen on The CW's The Flash. He's midway through his 3rd season in the role and will reprise it in the already renewed 4th season.

The Flash was the linchpin that brought the other CW DC shows together for the big Invasion! crossover this year. The cast of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl all came together to battle the Dominators, and Flash will team-up with Supergirl again for a musical episode later this season.

The show has been a hit for The CW and DC, and back when the show was nearing its first season's finale, Gustin shared his appreciation with the fans saying "AGAIN, I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for tuning in to our show all season and making it the hit that it has become. Every time I stop and think about the fact that I get to play The Flash and Barry Allen and there are people out there that love our show... I can't even fully explain it to be honest. It almost feels like I'm watching it happen to someone else at times. I will always feel grateful for getting to do what I love to do and now I have all of you to thank for helping me get to do that, AND on what I think is a ground breaking show led by geniuses Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg & Geoff Johns. I really believe they are the perfect people to be bringing this iconic character to life. They love this character & they're incredibly passionate about getting him right. They're also pretty okay guys and I love working with them. I feel incredibly lucky."

Gustin's non-superhero work also includes 90210 where he played Campbell Price for 1 season, followed by a role as Sebastian Smythe on Glee.

Grant was born on January 14, 1990, in Norfolk, Virgina. Happy Birthday, Grant!
