How Suicide Squad Should Have Ended Video Released

It's finally here. The ever-popular Youtube series "How It Should Have Ended" have answered the wishes of DC Comics fans at long last. The channel has just shared their HISHE video for Suicide Squad, and the sarcastic series doesn't shy away from knocking the blockbuster.

The footage kicks off with Amanda Waller as she brings up the 'Suicide Squad' initiative to government officials. Of course, HISHE takes the scene as an opportunity to play up The Enchantress and her powers to show the ancient being killing Waller before her nonsensical plan can get underway.

In fact, the entire video points out all of the film's more ridiculous plot points. The clip points out June Moone's terrible archaeology skills and pokes fun at Diablo's abrupt change of heart. After all, the character initially doesn't care about the team at all but then ultimately decides to sacrifice himself for the group. HISHE questions why Diablo called the renegades his 'second family' and Harley Quinn quite eloquently explains how that's not the case.

The video also borrows from another pop culture phenomenon by calling out Pokemon Go. HISHE shows Batman as a carefree player of a game called "Batman Go" and even uses the app as he confronts The Joker and Harley Quinn. The Dark Knight even alters the original Pokemon theme song to suit his own needs as he 'catches' Harley Quinn.

At the end, the video shows the team of villains meeting up with several other iconic baddies. From Doctor Who's Daleks to Marvel's Loki, the DC Comics squad is cornered by bad guys who accuse them of becoming heroes. But, when the group is kicked out of the villains' hidden lair, viewers see that Batman has tracked the Suicide Squad members and asks "What do we have here?"

Clearly, HISHE pokes fun at Suicide Squad out of love and adds plenty of scenes to the blockbuster. Fans shouldn't expect to see these animated scenes play out in the real world, but they can anticipate some new Suicide Squad footage soon enough. An extended cut of the film has been announced for home release and features over 10 minutes of unseen video.

In Suicide Squad, it feels good to be bad...Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?

The third installment of the DC Extended Universe is written and directed by David Ayer and stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne.
