Justice League Behind-The-Scenes Photo Teases Central City

It looks like one of the biggest superhero films of the year could be making a trip to a familiar DC Comics landmark thanks to Justice League. Later this year, folks like Batman and Wonder Woman will team up to save the world from an unprecedented threat, but the duo will need help. To do the job, other heroes like Cyborg and the Flash will be recruited to the fledgling Justice League - and it seems like someone will have to head to Central City to nab the speedster.

Thanks to the British Society of Cinematography, fans have now gotten a glimpse at Barry Allen's own Central City. The iconic locale was teased in a photo which features cinematographer Fabian Wagner working on the set of Justice League. The picture shows the man staring off into the distance with a camera crane behind him. However, the apparatus does nothing to obscure the large highway sign which reads "City Limit: CENTRAL CITY."

And, appropriately, there's a sign shortly after that reads, "Reduce Speed Ahead." Fans better thank Zack Snyder for that little joke.

Of course, this is not the first time fans have heard of Central City in the DC Extended Universe. Most recently, an easter egg about the city was found on a website for Suicide Squad. In one of the site's files, fans saw that a character was moved to Keystone City. The location's name is an alternate for Central City, so fans were left wondering if Justice League would use the former name. But, if this behind-the-scenes photo is right, then fans have nothing to worry about.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
