To commemorate Comic-Con International: San Diego 2016, The LEGO Group has released a new poster for The LEGO Batman Movie. Check out the full poster below. The poster shows LEGO Bruce Wayne about to put on his LEGO Batman cowl, with the tagline, "It's on. 2017."

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: The LEGO Batman Movie. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The spinoff film will take place in the same universe as the surprise hit animated film The LEGO Movie, but focuses in on the world of that film's version of Batman and his Gotham City, allies, and rogues for a different take on the Batman mythology.

The LEGO Batman Movie is directed by Chris McKay, produced by Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and written by Seth Grahame-Smith.The LEGO Batman Movie features the voices of Will Arnett at Bruce Wayne/Batman, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Michael Cera as Dick Grayson/Robin, Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, and Mariah Carey as the Mayor of Gotham City.

Check out when The LEGO Batman Movie and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
