Supergirl: Will Winn's New Girlfriend Join Team Guardian?

When we first met Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan), he was already pining for Kara. He tried to compete with James Olsen for Kara's affection and even opened up to Kara about his romantic feelings, but she kindly shot him down, telling him they should just be friends. He then moved on to the manipulative Siobhan Smythe, but that relationship crashed and burned just as quickly as it had begun.

Now that nerdy DEO agent is dating the sexy and tough Lyra (Tamzin Merchant), an alien from the planet Starhaven, can we expect that love connection to last more than a few episodes?

"In our world strong-willed women and women who are powerful in their own ways tend to have other things going on, so we find out that there are secrets," Jordan told EW. "But for the first few episodes that we see Winn and Lyra, it's more about discovering how their relationship fits into this new world that we're discovering on Supergirl."

And part of that discovery will involve Lyra joining Team Guardian on their missions and possibly causing a falling out between Winn and James (Mehcad Brooks). "Winn, James, and Lyra have a really funny story in [episode] 18 too, where the three of them try crime fighting as a trio, which doesn't necessarily go well," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shared with EW. "She kind of becomes the Yoko of the team."

When Jeremiah Danvers (guest star Dean Cain) is rescued from Cadmus, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) are thrilled to have their father back.

The Danvers arrange a family dinner to celebrate but things go awry when a suspicious Mon-El (Chris Wood) starts to question Jeremiah about his sudden return.

Larry Teng directed the episode written by Caitlin Parrish & Derek Simon.
