Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Day 1 Update Patch Notes Revealed

The patch notes for the first update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 have now been revealed. Across the coming day, Modern Warfare 3 will finally begin rolling out around the world. For the past week, though, MW3's campaign has been available to play in early access. Despite not being as well-received as past campaigns, Activision has now pushed out its initial update that should improve all aspects of the latest Call of Duty title.

Per usual with day-one updates, many of the "fixes" in this patch are tied to problems that most Modern Warfare 3 players would have never noticed. Activision has rectified a number of different gameplay elements tied not only to the single-player component, but also multiplayer. On the multiplayer front, some of these tweaks have impacted specific maps while others are tied to various weapons. For those who played the MW3 beta, these changes might be noticeable, but for the most part, this will simply be the initial version of the game that many players become familiar with.
