Destiny 2 Raid Challenge Mode Coming Soon - Here's What We Know
11/09/2017 04:55 pm EST
Last month we reported that players discovered special emblems within the Destiny 2 database pointing hints as for what the future will bring. The news of the upcoming challenges came from a recent database update that showed off five brand new emblems, one of which is thought to be the reward for successfully completing the raid on the newest difficulty called 'Glory to the Emperor'.
Since the emblems have been discovered, Bungie hasn't gone into too much detail about when players could expect the additional challenge, but they did continue to tease it a little bit during their Weekly Updates:
"This isn't the only upcoming raid news. We will be back next week to tell you about Raid Challenges that have been designed to make you rethink familiar encounters."
The Prestige Mode, the harder version of the Leviathan Raid, dropping next week - now would be the perfect time for Bungie to sweep in with their announcement of Challenge Modes. The following recent would be set for October 24th, which is also the same date that the PC version releases. Definitely not a coincidence, so players can expect to see some juicy news regarding the upcoming additions soon.
Destiny 2 is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release slated for October 24th. In other Destiny 2 emblem related news, did you know that you can also get an exclusive emblem with a purchase of a Destiny collectible? Check out more info and how to get it right here.
