The League of Legends Void champion Cho'Gath may not be anywhere near the most dynamic jungler to play, but the ravenous monster seems to be demolishing jungle camps after the most recent League of Legends patch reignited interest in the new champ.

You won't be pulling off any Insec moves like a Lee Sin or be navigating the map as fast as Kayn can by ignoring walls, but Cho'Gath has an extremely healthy clear in the jungle that's made even easier now with the most recent changes to his abilities. If you're not big on the older champ or didn't check out all of the patch notes that put him in the position that he's sitting at now, you can see the full changes below:

Aside from the reduced mana cost on his Rupture and an increased silence duration on his Feral Scream, both of which would definitely help with mana conservations and ganking, the real change that put him in this spot was the rework of his Vorpal Spikes. It's got crazy low costs in terms of both mana and cooldowns, and the percent maximum health damage absolutely shreds jungle camps. By applying the Hunter's Talisman health drain and resetting his auto attacks, this change allows the Terror of the Void to clear camps much quicker and come out with a lot more health and mana than he already would. The slow will also allow teammate to proc Stoneborn Pact which makes the mastery even more viable for Cho'Gath's health-stacking strategy.

He's sitting at around a 55 percent winrate at the moment, and some players are already wondering whether or not he should be nerfed like Singed was immediately after release.

These changes aren't pushing Cho'Gath anywhere near a pick/ban status, but his winrate has certainly gone up, and he seems to find himself among other easy introduction champs to the jungle.
