New York Yankees Players Uses Awesome Destiny 2 Custom Gear

Usually, when baseball players take the field, they have to do so in strict, Major League Baseball-endorsed uniforms that coordinate with their teams. However, this weekend, the league decided to relax a little bit, allowing players the opportunity to dress in whatever custom uniform they saw fit, as part of a way to express themselves. And one player decided to showcase one of his favorite games – the forthcoming Destiny 2.

Yep, the official Destiny Twitter account revealed that New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge decided to show just how much he loves Destiny with custom cleats and gloves featuring each of the classes available in the game, including the Titan, the Hunter and the Warlock.

He's changed over to each gear per day, so that they're all treated equally, and as you can see in the gallery, it looks like pretty sweet custom stuff – to the point that players out there may want to get it for themselves. Unfortunately, Activision hasn't noted if it would be made available publicly, and it's not very likely. On the plus side, there is an official line of Destiny 2 gear for the rest of us.

He was able to show off the content even after Thursday's game, in which there were eight different ejections and four batters that were hit by a pitch. Needless to say, pretty chaotic indeed.

Check out the attached gallery, and prepare for Destiny 2 when it arrives on September 6th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and October 24th for PC.
