Star Wars Battlefront II Offers Early Beta Access And A Cool Yoda Bonus If You Pre-Order

Today EA will be blowing the doors off the Star Wars Battlefront II barn, showing both a new trailer and unveiling first multiplayer footage in a big 40-player livestream. After all that you'll probably be tempted to pre-order the game, and EA definitely wants to encourage that urge, announcing some new pre-order bonuses.
Those who put their money down on Star Wars Battlefront II in advance will get early access to the game's open beta and an upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda. We don't yet know exactly when the Battlefront II beta will kick off, or how much earlier pre-orderers will be allowed to start playing, but chances are very good more details will be spilled later today during EA's E3 2017 press conference.
In addition to the newly-announced goodies, those who pre-order will also get exclusive access to The Last Jedi Heroes DLC, which includes special skins, powers, and vehicles for Kylo Ren and Ren. Here are the specifics:
Kylo Ren
- Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi themed look
- 2x Epic Ability modifiers that allow you to freeze and pull opponents as you use the force
- Epic Ability modifier for new First Order hero ship
Rey
- Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi themed look
- 2x Epic Ability modifiers that allow you to control the minds of enemies
- Epic Ability modifier that upgrades Millennium Falcon to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon
Often pre-ordering isn't really worth it, but that's a pretty tasty bundle of stuff. As mentioned, we'll learn a lot more about Star Wars Battlefront II when the EA Play press conference kicks off today (June 10) at 12pm PT.
