Starfield's Biggest Update Yet Released for Xbox and PC, Patch Notes Revealed

Starfield update version 1.9.51.0 has now officially released across Xbox and PC platforms. A few weeks back, Bethesda Game Studios pushed out this latest patch for its spacefaring RPG in beta on Steam to make sure that there would be no problems when it was released for the game properly. Now, after nearly two weeks of testing, this same update, which is one of the biggest that Starfield has ever seen, is available to download.

For the most part, this new Starfield patch is focused on continuing to improve the core of the game rather than add new content. As such, there are a ton of fixes and other quality of life tweaks that Bethesda has implemented with this update. In particular, a number of key quests in Starfield that have previously had errors have now been resolved. Other minor alterations to weapons, skills, and ship customization have also arrived as well.

"We're grateful for all the feedback we've seen and received and will continue to monitor and track your issues and critiques," Bethesda said alongside the release of this patch. "As we noted last year, we'll continue to have a steady stream of updates about every six weeks, so if you don't see your issue addressed below, don't lose faith! Keep sharing your feedback and issues so we can do our best to prioritize."
