Agents Of SHIELD's Chloe Bennet Teases Fun May-Quake Team-Up

Last Tuesday's episode of Agents of SHIELD was one of the finest in the series, especially because of the sensational third act. During it, Jeffrey Mace/The Patriot heroically sacrificed his life to save his team and the young people Hydra abducted and were brainwashing. And because May was on hand to watch his act of bravery, it planted a seed of goodness in her, making the loyal Hydra agent rethink her allegiance. In the closing moments she enters a cell looking like she's going to torture or interrogate Daisy some more, but then she whips out a Terrigen crystal so that Daisy can regain her Inhuman abilities.

The series hasn't delivered a plethora of stand-up-and-cheer moments, but that was certainly one of them. At least, I know I stood up and cheered. So what's next for the dynamic duo?

"We really see May and Daisy working together again," Chloe Bennet told EW. "It feels kind of old-school because the aesthetic is definitely something of the first season because of the hair, but we have May finally realizing that there's something bigger than the Framework and having that gut intuition. It's a really fun May-Skye reunion, save-the-day episode, which was really fun for us to shoot because we haven't done that in a while. Obviously, it's not as easy as that seems, but it's going to be an interesting little fun episode for fans who've been loyal since season 1."
