Ant-Man And The Wasp Poster Revealed At Comic-Con

On the final day of Comic-Con International: San Diego, Marvel Studios has revealed a new poster for Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The poster was painted by concept artist Andy Park and shows Ant-Man in Giant-Man form smashing planes as he fights side-by-side with the Wasp. Take a look below.

Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man, and Evangeline Lily as Hope Van Dyne, who will take on her mother Janet Van Dyne's role as the Wasp. Michael Douglas will reprise his role as Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man, and Michael Pena, Tip "T.I." Harris and David Dastmalchian will also return.

New cast members include Randall Park as SHIELD agent Jimmy Woo, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, and Laurence Fishburne as Bill Fost.

Ant-Man director Peyton Reed will return for the sequel. Rudd and Gabriel Ferrari are writing the script. Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige is producing.

Plot details for Ant-Man and the Wasp are still being kept secret at this time.

Ant-Man outperformed expectations for Marvel when it was released in 2015, grossing $519 million worldwide, including $180 million domestic. Rudd reprised his role as Ant-Man to join Team Cap in Captain America: Civil War in 2016.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to open in theaters on July 6, 2018.

In Ant-Man, forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

Ant-Man was directed by Peyton Reed, with a screenplay by Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish and Adam McKay & Paul Rudd, and stars Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip "T.I." Harris, Anthony Mackie, Wood Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, and Michael Douglas.
