Production for Avengers: Infinity War is currently under way in Edinburgh, Scotland, where onlookers have snapped pictured of the Vision and Scarlet Witch actors Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olson battling some of Thanos' henchmen.

But now that the shoot in Scotland is winding down, the production will hop back over to the United States and return to the site of the original Incident.

Casting site Movie Casting Call just put out a notice from Disney for the filming of Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet untitled sequel for actors in the New York City area. It states filming is set to begin in May.

The casting call specifically states: "Especially needed are people with New York looks, and also people with good character faces."

Another requirement in the notice calls for new actors who have not yet worked on the production, which sounds a little strange. Maybe they've had a problem with serial extras being used in multiple locations—who knows?

It's interesting to note that Avengers: Infinity War will be returning to the site of the Battle of New York. Between that film and Doctor Strange, New York City has certainly been through a lot. Now Thanos is set to come and reign down some hell on one of the largest cities in the world? Well, it is said that New Yorkers are resilient.

With Atlanta's studio shoot and the on-location filming for Scotland and New York, Avengers: Infinity War is shaping up to be an international affair. Much like Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Marvel Studios team-up movies are making sure to be globe-trotting adventures.

Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to release in theaters May 4, 2018.
