Avengers: Infinity War is set to be a spectacle the likes of which Marvel fans haven't seen onscreen. With that promise, it's safe to assume that a large number of prominent Marvel Cinematic Universe characters will be making some sort of appearance in the film.

Nevertheless, it's definitely a pleasant surprise to see another hero added to the movie's roster. A recent photo taken on the Avengers: Infinity War set now confirms that Vision (Paul Bettany) will appear in the film - and that he will definitely suit up.

The photo, which was recently shared on the Marvel Studios subreddit, shows Bettany on a street in Edinburgh, Scotland, where Infinity War is currently filming. He is accompanied by a crew member who appears to be holding the character's long cape.

It was safe to assume that Vision would appear in Infinity War in some way, given his personal connection to the Infinity Stones. Vision is, of course, technically bound to the Mind Stone, a relationship he briefly addressed in Captain America: Civil War. With Thanos (Josh Brolin) on the hunt for the remaining gems, he's bound to cross paths with Vision at some point.

At this point, it's unclear exactly what the character is doing in Scotland, and whether or not he will be joined by another one of the film's impressive cast members. Fans will just have to wait until Avengers: Infinity War gets closer to premiering to find out.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently sitting pretty with a 4.34/5 rating in our User Anticipation Ratings - with over a year to go until its release! Let us know how excited you are for the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie of all time, by rating your anticipation below!
