When Marvel Studios announced its casting for Black Panther, fans couldn't get over its all-star talent. Actors like Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong'o filled out the cast with Forest Whitaker. Now, Angela Bassett is telling fans to prepare themselves for the sure-fire hit.

The actress recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her upcoming projects, and Bassett had nothing but praise for Black Panther.

"I am so stoked, so thrilled," Bassett gushed.

"It is going to be absolutely amazing. I heard a little word that as they're putting it together that it's just looking and feeling amazing and I'm just glad that all that we felt while we were making it is really translating to the screen. So, get ready, get ready. It's going to be quite phenomenal."

With talent like Bassett on-board, it is hard to imagine Black Panther being anything less than perfect. The film finished filming earlier this year, and its first trailer nearly broke the Internet as fans gushed about the reel. The hype certainly lived up to what Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige had built up the film to be.

After all, the executive producer told Vulture that Black Panther is one high-class project.

"Every day, seeing that cast come together … it's just amazing," Feige said. "Across the board, it's the highest-class cast we've had on a first movie."

"The cast looks different than any of the other casts that we've had. Both in front of and behind the camera, it's almost entirely people of color," he said. "Which I think is a special, important thing, and one of the reasons the film will be unique and as great as I think it's going to be."

Black Panther currently enjoys a 4.06 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings, which you can vote on here. Black Panther hits theaters on February 16, 2018.
