Sebastian Stan Confirms Winter Soldier Isn't In Black Panther

Black Panther took audiences by storm with the release of its first teaser trailer earlier this summer. But some began to question if another Captain America: Civil War alum, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, was cleverly missing from the footage, or wouldn't be appearing in the film at all.

Bucky himself, Sebastian Stan, has now settled things once and for all, in a recent interview with GMA.

"I am not in Black Panther." Stan revealed, in the video above, before slipping into an impression of Bill Clinton. "I did not have any relation with Black Panther."

All joking aside, Stan did actually clarify that he is not in the film, despite Bucky currently being held in cryosleep in T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) Wakandan palace. According to the actor, how Bucky does wake up in Wakanda will be seen, in next year's Avengers: Infinity War.

"No, I'm not. I really am not [in Black Panther]." Stan explained. "But that [plotline] gets resolved in [Infinity War]."
