Black Panther Costume: Up-Close Look Revealed At Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con is the best place to get up-close looks at the costumes and props of your favorite superhero films, which happens to include Black Panther.

King T'Challa's full Black Panther costume is on display this year, and thanks to Marvel's Ryan Penagos new images give an unprecedented look at the suit's tiny details. The triangle design seen throughout is broken up raised texture lines, almost appearing like they're scratches on the suit. These appear on the arms, legs, and all throughout the torso.

A second raised texture is introduced at certain points as well, like on the legs, ankles, and arms, breaking things up even further. The only bulky elements seem to be the interwoven necklace design, the gauntlets, and boots.

The pics also give a closeup of his mask, which is insanely detailed. Multiple textures are featured here as well, though different in nature than the ones found in the suit.

All said and done, this is one of the sleekest costumes Marvel has created for its films, appearing more like the comics it's based on than other film costumes.

Ross), Daniel Kaluuya (W'Kabi), Angela Bassett (Ramonda), Forest Whitaker (Zuri), Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaw), Florence Kasumba (Ayo), John Kani (King T'Chaka), Winston Duke (M'Baku/Man-Ape), Sterling K. Brown (N'Jobu), and Letitia Wright (Shuri).

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming are in theaters now, while Thor: Ragnarok debuts on November 3, 2017. After that Black Panther debuts on February 16, 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp is slated for July 6, 2018, followed by Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.
