Thor: Ragnarok's Chris Hemsworth Works Out Like A God

Last week, fans got their first glimpse at Thor's new look for Thor: Ragnarok. Thor's once long, golden locks are gone, and star Chris Hemsworth sports a rougher, more rugged look.

But getting the body of a god of thunder doesn't just happen. It takes a lot of work, as seen in a new video Hemsworth posted to Instagram. The video shows Hemsworth going through an intense workout with his trainer, Luke Zocchi. Take a look below.

Thor: Ragnarok will be the third Thor movie from Marvel Studios and the fifth time that Hemsworth has played the role, including Marvel's The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The original Thor saw the God of Thunder trying to become worthy of his hammer again after Loki's machinations left him wanting. The second film, Thor: The Dark World, forced Thor into an uneasy alliance with Loki to battle Malekith and the Dark Elves. Thor: Ragnarok sees Thor sent across the galaxy by an ancient Asgardian evil, Hela, where he teams up with fellow Avengers Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the incredible Hulk, to save the Nine Realms.

Thor: Ragnarok also sets the Marvel Cinematic Universe up for Avengers: Infinity War. The third Avengers movie sees the Avengers teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to take on the greatest threat either team as ever face, Thanos, the Mad Titan.

Thor: Ragnarok currently has a 4.18 out of 5 ComicBook User Anticipation Rating, making it the sixth most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers. Let us know how excited you are for Thor: Ragnarok by giving it your own rating below.
