Today, at the "Marvel: Cup O'Joe" panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2016, Marvel Comics announced Civil War II: The Oath, and epilogue to Marvel's summer event epic Civil War II.

In the style of Civil War: The Confession, writer Nick Spencer and artist Rod Reis tell a story set after the dust of the Second Superhero Civil Warr settles. With the battle behind them, Tony Stark and Carol Danvers seek guidance from the one person they know they can put their faith in, Steve Rogers.

But Iron Man and Captain Marvel don't know that Captain America has had his history manipulated by the Red Skull to turn him into and Agent of Hydra. What will come of this meeting of Marvel's greatest heroes?

Check out Jeff Dekal's cover to Civil War II: The Oath #1 below.
