Deadpool is getting up to some of his old tricks once again.

Marvel Comics has released a first look preview for Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again #1 from writer Cullen Bunn (X-Men Blue, Venomverse) and artist Dalibor Talajic (Deadpool Kills The Marvel Unvierse, Redwolf) . You can see the preview pages in the gallery below.

Though this is the same creative team that helped Deadpool kill the Marvel universe the first time around in 2012 Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe, Bunn clarifies that Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again is a completely standalone story.

"This is not a sequel to the original story," warns series writer Cullen Bunn in a statement. "This is an all new murderous rampage. The Marvel Universe has changed a great deal since the first series. So, of course, Deadpool had to up his game and change his tactics."

"Deadpool is pulling out all the stops on this killing spree," Bunn continues. "In the second issue of the original series, he killed Spider-Man. In the second issue of this series, he goes after the entire Spider-Man family. And that's not all. Good ol' Wade is approaching these kills in all new ways, and he's going after huge targets. How does Deadpool kill an entire pantheon of mythic beings? You'll find out in the first issue. And that's just the beginning of the carnage."

It will be Deadpool versus the X-Men, Avengers, Gwenpool, Spider-Man, and everyone else in the Marvel Universe when Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again hits comic book stores and digital comics apps in July.
