Disney's Princesses Want An Avengers-Stye Team-Up Film

Marvel has paved the way for a number of things, including connected universes and superhero team-ups on the big screen. Could the Disney Princesses follow in their footsteps?

That's the question Fandango posed to several of the actors who routinely bring the Princesses to life, specifically if they would be up for an Avengers style team-up. Actresses Linda Larkin (Jasmine), Irene Bedard (Pocahontas), Kelly MacDonald (Merida), Auli'i Cravalho (Moana), Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Jodi Benson (Ariel), Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), all seemed enthusiastic about the possibilities.

"I would have never thought of that," said Auli'i Cravalho. "Okay, we're on camera, you need to quote that because that's such a great idea. We're all different but we all have similarities at the same time and I think we're all on the pursuit of good."

Mandy Moore wanted to start right away, saying, "Yeah, sign me up. Where is John Lassetter (laughs). I'm so down for that."

Anika Noni Rose would love to get some superpowers, saying, "If it's Avengers style then we get to have superpowers and things, and I get to whip out my kitchen knives Ginsu style and fly? Are you kidding, yes!"

While nothing is official of course, Irene Bedard teased a bit, offering "Yeah, I would totally be down for the princesses coming together to save the world, and it might just happen to."
