First Look At Evangeline Lilly's 'Ant-Man And The Wasp' Costume

Ant-Man and the Wasp star Evangeline Lilly just revealed the first look at herself in costume as the Wasp.

Lilly revealed the image on Twitter to celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of the Wasp's co-creator Jack Kirby.

Lilly also paid tribute to the King, Jack Kirby, writing, "I am honoured to be on set today playing #TheWasp on what would be Jack Kirby's 100th birthday. #ThankYouJackKirby #AntManAndTheWasp"

Kirby co-created the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne, along with Stan Lee. She first appeared in Tales to Astonish #44 in 1963. Wasp became a founding member of the Avengers and the wife of fellow Avenger Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man.

Janet Van Dyne will make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp, played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Lilly is playing Hope Van Dyne, the daughter of Janet and Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas.
