Of all of Spider-Man's enemies, Otto Octavius has always been among the deadliest. That has a lot to do with those four nigh unbreakable arms of his, sure, but Otto has also always prided himself on approaching a conflict with intelligence and patience, and that what makes him so deadly.

That patience has served him well ever since Doc's mind entered the body of the living brain, where he's bided his time until the right moment, and it looks like the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man #18 will be the moment that Doc Ock finally makes his move. First though, it's time to find out just how Octavius managed to hide inside Parker's robot assistant all this time in the first place.

The Amazing Spider-Man #18 is written by Dan Slott, with art from Giuseppe Camuncoli, with a cover by the renowned Alex Ross. You can read the official description below, and make sure to check out a preview of the issue in the gallery.

BEFORE "DEAD NO MORE" marches you closer to the Spider-Event of 2016. THE MOMENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR HAS COME! Doc Ock has been trapped in the body of The Living Brain since the first issue, but now it's time for him to act!

The Amazing Spider-Man #18 hits comic stores on September 21st.
