EXCLUSIVE: The Unworthy Thor #3 Marvel Preview

The Asgardian previously known as Thor fights a losing battle these days, getting so close to his goal but remaining just out of arms reach.

The Odinson's tribulations continue in The Unworthy Thor #3, and ComicBook.com has an exclusive preview of the anticipated issue. Things look rather bleak for the former God of Thunder, but he does at least make an unexpected acquaintance in the doldrums of the Collectors prison. Things will get even more complicated soon, as another party is also seeking out the hammer for their own gains.

The Odinson and Beta Ray Bill continue their quest to take the hammer of the Ultimate Thor from the clutches of the Collector. Elsewhere, a mysterious and powerful cosmic entity has learned of the weapon's location and makes plans to claim the hammer as his own. And also, the Odinson gets a new pet?!

The Unworthy Thor #3 is written by Jason Aaron with art by Kim Jacinto and Olivier Coipel. Matthew Wilson is on colors with Letters and Production from VC's Joe Sabino. Variant covers were created by Emanuela Lupacchino and Rico Renzi along with Ryan Sook.

The Unworthy Thor #3 hits comic shops on January 4, 2017.
