Fan Cosplay Friday: The Resplendent Spider-Gwen By Mari Evans

The Spider-verse is as big as it's ever been on the comics side of things, and while the new additions are all quite popular, few have surpassed the immediate rise to superstardom of Spider-Gwen.

While the character has a lot to offer in terms of personality and wit, she immediately made an impression due to her sleek and modern costume design. The new suit includes the iconic webbing but with a purple, white, and black color scheme. The design was instantly a hit not just with the comics community, but also cosplayers, including Mari Evans. Evans has recreated the costume perfectly and paired up with photographers Pugoffka-sama and Andrey Kudryavtsev for some incredibly stylish photos.

Evans truly resembles Gwen with the mask off, but there are a few photos that include the mask and hoodie combo as well. Either way, the photos are beautiful, with lovely lighting and staging throughout, especially when Evans is standing in front of the blue lit window.
