It turns out the greatest mystery involving DC Comics is not who took away the 10 years from our heroes. No, the greatest mystery involves something a bit more personal, and the most coveted thing a hero can have in their possession.

A chocolate bar.

Not just any chocolate bar, no no, but Wonder Woman's chocolate bar, and while everyone is pitching in to help find it, Diana already knows who the culprit is thanks to her trusty golden lasso. The chocolate smeared all over Harley's face doesn't help either, but we'll give credit to the lasso. This delightful scenario has been created by the talented pencils and colors of Mauricio Abril in his latest DC-centric piece DC Daycare.

Abril's colorful and expressive work would be at home in a Pixar film, and in fact, Abril at one time worked for Disney Imagineering and Disney Interactive. He's also created numerous superhero works featuring Batman (Bat Boys), Superman (Boys of Steel), and The Avengers, which also included Spider-Man's reaction to being excluded from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his final reunion with his fellow Marvel heroes on screen.

Perhaps the most delightful one is the Captain America Road Trip, which has Falcon, Winter Solider, and Cap huddled together in their blue Volkswagon Beetle. It was one of the highlights of the film, and it's just as amusing here.

You can find more of Abril's fantastic artwork on his Facebook, Deviant Art, Twitter, and official website. You can also find some highlights in the gallery, including the first entry in his new Dog Days series featuring Superman.
