First look at Marvels Mosaic #1

Later this year, writer Geoffrey Thorne and artist Khary Randolph will bring the newest hero to the Marvel Universe out of the pages of Uncanny Inhumans, and his name is Mosaic.

Morris Sackett is used to being adored by legions of fans due to his athletic gifts, but an interacting with the Terrigen Mists has thrown his life into freefall. While he's gained the ability to inhabit the body of anyone he chooses, the damage to his own has taken away much of the things he's come to rely on. Thorne feels if people give the character a chance, they'll most assuredly find something to love about him.

"People always ask for more diversity and strong characters of color, so that is what we aim to deliver," added Randolph. "But that aspect is just the outer layer — the more important thing is creating an interesting person that people will want to know more about month to month. Specifically, as it pertains to Mosaic, the subject matter just appeals to my sensibilities. I love science fiction, I love hip-hop and I love sports, and this project has all three of these in huge quantities."
