Marvel's Black Panther Adds Forest Whitaker to Cast

The cast of Marvel's Black Panther movie is adding yet another big-name African-American actor to its cast; Variety reports that Forest Whitaker has joined Black Panther, in an undisclosed role that is being kept "under wraps..."

So far, Black Panther has stacked an impressive cast. Oscar-winner Chadwick Boseman is already a fan-favorite for his portrayal of T'Challa/Black Panther. In his solo film debut he's joined by Oscar-Winner Lupita Nyong'o, and Walking Dead's Danai Gurira as allies to T'Challa, while Michael B. Jordan, Andy Serkis and Winston Duke as villains Killmonger, Klaw and Man-Ape, respectively.

Doctor Strange opens November 4, 2016; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – May 5, 2017; Spider-Man: Homecoming– July 7, 2017; Thor: Ragnarok – November 3, 2017; Black Panther – February 16, 2018; Avengers: Infinity War – May 4, 2018; Ant-Man and the Wasp – July 6, 2018; and Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.
