Gentle Giant Unveils Rocket Raccoon SDCC Exclusive Animated Statue

Gentle Giant Studios continues its delightful animated statue series with a new San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, the lovable and deadly Rocket Raccoon.

The exclusive statue is based on the wonderful art of Skottie Young and was sculpted by the talented team at Gentle Giant. The pose recreates the cover art from Rocket Raccoon #1, which was also drawn by Young. Rocket here stands at 3.5 inches tall, and the sculptors have accurately reproduced Young's stylings in 3D form. Armed with a blaster and his custom rocket launcher, the figure is limited to 1000 pieces, so if you want one you'll need to pre-order as soon as possible.

The only way you can do that though is to become a Premier Guild member, which is on its own $80 a year. After you sign up, you'll then be able to pre-order Rocket, who will ship out at the conclusion of SDCC.
