Guardians of the Galaxy Animated Series Adds Hulk, Star Wars Veteran as Yondu and Cosmo

James Arnold Taylor, known to comic book fans from his roles on Star Wars: Clone Wars and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., will take on the dual roles of Yondu Udonta and Cosmo in the forthcoming Guardians of the Galaxy animated series, Marvel has announced.
In the comics, Yondu is one of the original Guardians of the Galaxy, a team of aliens from the future. Since the animated series appears to be taking its cues from the feature film adaptation that was in theaters in 2014, though, it's more likely he'll be a kind of antihero and sometimes-antagonist to the Guardians here.
Cosmo, who had a cameo in the feature film version, in the comics is the chief of security for Knowhere, the base of operations for the Guardians. He's a Russian dog sent into space during the Cold War who developed enhanced intelligence and some mental powers.
Guardians of the Galaxy will come to Disney XD in 2015.
