Blockbusters and action figures go together very well even if studios do they best to keep the latter under-wraps. Films like Power Rangers and even Beauty and the Beast have been plagued by undue spoilers thanks to its merchandise, and now Marvel Studios has fallen to the seemingly inevitable falter. Now, a photo of Funko's Pint Size Heroes line-up for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has hit the Internet, and it gives fans their first-look at the film's villain.

On Twitter, a fan tweeted the image to director James Gunn when they noticed a strange figure mixed in amongst the pint-sized toys. Gunn said the blonde woman was Ayesha, a character who is well-known in the Marvel Universe thanks to her connection to Adam Warlock.

Of course, fans already know that Ayesha would be making an appearance in the film. Elizabeth Debicki was cast to play the cosmic being, but fans were disappointed they didn't get a glimpse of her live-action form in the first trailer for Guardians. Now, Funko's adorable toy is helping ease that feeling even if it doesn't quite do the character justice.

If you are not familiar with Ayesha, then you should know the character is better known by a different name. In the comics, the lady is often called Kismet or simply Her as she is created along with Adam Warlock by the Citadel of Science. The artificial being is extremely powerful, and her origin story involves her inability to mate with Warlock as the man rejects her advances at every turn.

Gunn has commented on how Ayesha will fit into the Guardians sequel, and she sounds properly terrifying. He wrote on his Facebook that, "Ayesha is the golden High Priestess of a genetically-perfect people called the Sovereign. She's not a woman to be screwed with – she, and her entire world, are extraordinarily deadly."

Set to the backdrop of 'Awesome Mixtape #2,' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is written and directed by James Gunn (Slither). The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Gamora; Dave Bautista (Spectre) as Drax; Vin Diesel (Furious 7) as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper (American Sniper) as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker (Jumper) as Yondu; Karen Gillan (The Big Short) as Nebula; and Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls) as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, Everest), Chris Sullivan (The Knick, The Drop) and Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight, The Thing).
