How Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Should Have Ended

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has now received the How It Should Have Ended treatment. Check out the hilarious animated Vol.2 parody above.

Though the film was widely praised by fans and critics alike, the team at How It Should Have Ended managed to find some holes in the story to exploit and turn into laughable jokes. Chief among those moments is the highly marketed moment which saw Baby Groot pressing the correct button on Rocket's bomb which, for some reason, had both "detonate now" and "detonate then" buttons.

The most valid argument presented in the new video, however, sees Yondu use his arrow to take down all of Ayesha's ships in the third act's fight sequence on Ego the Living Planet. Instead, Peter Quill tried to take them down using Rocket's weapons which required an energy source -- one which Nebula would have to serve as.

In any case, the video is harmless fun and doesn't ruin any of the love for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Set to the backdrop of 'Awesome Mixtape #2,' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 currently enjoys an 85.18 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is on video on demand now and hits Blu-ray/DVD on August 22nd.
