Krysten Ritter Is Ready For Defenders Season 2

Marvel and Netflix have spent the last couple of years building toward the eventual Defenders team-up series, and the new show is drawing closer and closer to its 2017 premiere date.

The Defenders will be the culmination of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, and will see the heroes unite for the first time. After Iron Fist debuts his solo series in March, all of the team members will have had plenty of screentime leading up to The Defenders.

While no one is sure what will happen with the Marvel Netflix Universe after The Defenders wraps, some of the stars say they're ready to give the property another round.

In a set interview with EW, Jessica Jones actress Krysten Ritter stated that she is up for another Defenders season. Even though she's still filming the first, part two can't come soon enough.

"This is spread out so we're all working about three days a week. We're all in celebration of that. It's honestly kind of a dream job." She laughs. "If they want to do a Defenders 2," she says. "I'm in."

That's one out of four, but it seems like all of the stars are enjoying their time with the series. Each of them has talked about how much fun they've had on set, and it speaks volumes that they were all excited about the team-up after wrapping difficult filming sessions with their solo series.
