Marvel's Defenders Has Wrapped Filming

Whether you're a part of the camp that is loving Netflix and Marvel's Iron Fist or are hating it altogether, chances are you're a fan of the other series on the streaming service. And that means you're probably eagerly waiting to find out when we can expect to see Defenders.

As the smoke begins to clear surround Iron Fist's debut, so too does the hype machine begin for the team-up series with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage cast members. An announcement could be coming soon as Netflix recently wrapped production on Defenders.

Makeup artist Sarit Klein worked on the production and recently posted a series of photos to her Instagram account, indicating she and coworkers were celebrating at the wrap party for the series.

Klein also previously worked on Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage as the department head, making this her fifth series in Netflix and Marvel's offerings.

Set videos have recently been pouring out and given the proximity to the wrap date, these could be from scenes toward the series' ending.

We'll see how significant and revealing those set videos are, but at least we know that filming has wrapped and now the editors and effects artists are hard at work tidying up the final product before Defenders hits the streaming service.

Iron Fist is now airing online. Defenders is set to hit the service later this year, rumored for a summer premiere. Following Defenders, John Bernthal will star as the Punisher in his own series.
