Marvel Studios To Debut New Logo For Anniversary

Even though Marvel Studios unveiled a new logo just under a year ago, it appears the cinematic room at the House of Ideas will be getting some new branding come next year. During Marvel Studio's gigantic Hall H panel at last year's San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios unveiled their current logo with a brand-new intro to be tagged to the beginning of all Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies.

Now, studio head Kevin Feige says it's changing again thanks to the MCU's tenth anniversary next year. In a recent interview with a French magazine, Feige likened the move to the same fans will see when Star Wars celebrates its 40th anniversary next year.

"Like Star Wars, Marvel Studios will have a special logo for the 10th anniversary of the MCU next year," Feige mentioned to the French media, which was later translated by Twitter user @marvel_shots.

Of course, it's entirely plausible that the Burbank-based superhero powerhouse could be coming out with a commemorative logo just for next year. In fact, that very well could be the case.

Whether it's a temporary logo to celebrate an outstanding ten years that have brought joy to many supehero fans across the glove or a permanent solution, the ten-year mark is a momentous occasion any comic book fan should appreciate.

While we wait for the fresh new logo to debut, Marvel Studios has a full slate of movies on the way, starting with July's Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first solo film to feature Peter Parker in the MCU.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts, from a screenplay by Jonathan M. Goldstein & John Francis Daley and Watts & Christopher Ford and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.
