New Punisher Photos Show Frank Castle Commit Grand Theft Auto

Marvel and Netflix are currently filming two series, The Defenders and The Punisher, meaning a steady stream of set photos have been hitting the internet.

The latest photos on location for the Punisher reveal series star Jon Bernthal committing crimes other than assault and homicide.

The images posted by Twitter user @Kültürpat show Frank Castle stealing a cop car—unless, that is, someone loaned it to him. But that's pretty doubtful, considering the Punisher's relationship with Law and Order.

These images join a slew of others which depict Bernthal on set as Castle, on a mission to find the truth about his family's murder.

So far there hasn't been enough information released about the series, and these photos don't depict much aside from 'Frank steals a police vehicle,' but it's nice to see the Punisher committing some non-violent crimes for a change.

The Punisher is currently filming and no new synopsis for the series has been released. 

Netflix is currently promoting the forthcoming Iron Fist series, premiering March 17th, followed by the Defenders team-up series which is set to arrive later this year.

A release date for Netflix' Punisher series has not yet been announced.

Netflix has set Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal) as showrunner on The Punisher. Jim Chory and Marvel's Jeph Loeb (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage) as executive producers.
