Rumor: Marvel Not Going To Comic-Con Because They Can't Compete With DC

Several days ago, the trades confirmed the long-standing rumor that Marvel is skipping San Diego Comic Con this year. Did they ditch Hall H this year because they're afraid of being second banana to DC Comics' SDCC presentation?
Some have speculated that Marvel was skipping the event so that they could present something spectacular at Disney's D23 event in August, but El Mayimbe from Heroic Hollywood has heard differently.
His sources have told him "the real reason is that Marvel felt it couldn't compete with the upcoming DC panel from Warner Brothers."
Word is WB/DC aren't pulling any punches on their Hall H presentation. They will be there to promote Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Justice League, and Wonder Woman.
