Ryan Reynolds Trolls Hugh Jackman On Twitter

Logan has become an instant classic amongst fans of the superhero movie genre, as you can easily see in the film's 88.57 score on ComicBook.com's composite rankings (just slightly behind Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight), but that doesn't mean star Hugh Jackman is immune to some heckling.

Of course, that heckling comes from fellow X-Universe star Ryan Reynolds (via THR), who's fan favorite Deadpool appears in a special short in from of Jackman's film. Jackman shared an image on Twitter at the film's premiere in Beijing as he posed with fans, saying "Thanks for an amazing visit Beijing!". Reynolds took notice of the tweet and couldn't help himself, posting a tweet that said: "Pretty sure those are protestors." Jackman saw the jab and responded "Really...Guy...Really?!@VancityReynolds".

It's sad that this won't be a continuing thing, as Logan is Jackman's last film in the popular role. What a way to go out, though, as Logan took in an impressive $88,411,916 million so far domestically, with a worldwide total of $247,44,337. Aside from the impressive box office, the film has debuted to glowing reviews, including ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis, who calls the film "the grandest finale of them all" for Jackman and the character of Wolverine.

Logan takes place in the year 2024, where mutant births have become extremely rare. The defenders of mutant kind, the X-Men, are long gone, and the only remains of them are an old and struggling Charles Xavier and a weary Logan. Logan's vaunted healing factor has slowed, and at times doesn't seem to work at all. When a young mutant needs his help, Logan has to unsheathe his claws once more. His job isn't over yet.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Dafne Keen (Laura Kinney/X-23), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant (Caliban), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), and Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander Rice). James Mangold is directing and helped on the screenplay along with Scott Frank and Michael Green.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
