Sebastian Stan Will Return For 'Avengers 4'

Avengers: Infinity War has yet to drop an official trailer, but Marvel Studios is already working on Avengers 4. Stars like Brie Larson have been spotted on the sequel's set as of late, and Sebastian Stan is expected to join them all soon.

During a recent interview with CinemaBlend, Stan confirmed he would be returning to film Avengers 4. The actor sat down to chat about I, Tonya, and Stan did talk about his future with the MCU when the next Avengers films were mentioned.

"I still haven't read a script for this next one. For this fourth one. All I know is I'm going down there in October, and that's all I know," Stan revealed.

"I still actually haven't read a script for the last one. [laughs] All I knew was what I was involved in, and I was kept on a very 'need to know' basis. Maybe that's the norm. But it's a family system. There's a trust, and there's a sense of knowledge between the writers and the directors, with Kevin [Feige]... that shows up."

Marvel fans will know that Stan isn't the only to star who's been kept from the Avengers scripts. In the past, Tom Holland and Chris Hemsworth have stressed they've not read all of Avengers: Infinity War. However, the younger star got himself barred from spoilers because of his admitted blabbermouth.

Stan still has over a month before he's called to set, but the actor is surely excited. In the past, the star has described his time filming Avengers: Infinity War as a rather pleasant experience. During a chat with Collider, the Captain America star said the Russo Brothers run a very mellow ship.

"It's actually kind of loose and relaxed, at least when I was around," Stan explained. "I had fun. You're always like 'oh, so and so walked by me' – it's always a little bit like a double take. But generally I just think everyone's just having a good time."

Fans of the Winter Soldier will be happy to hear about Stan's return, but fans should not put too much stock in the confession just yet. Marvel Studios has led fans astray in the past by bringing actors on film sets even when they weren't needed. Michael Rooker was touted around the Avengers set after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 wrapped, leaving many to believe the Ravager made it through the sequel alive. However, as fans have now learned, Yondu didn't make it out quite like fans had hoped.
