Not all is quiet on the Marvel front, as Stan Lee - the company's iconic founder - was visited by the police earlier this week.

According to TMZ, police showed up to the home of Stan Lee to investigate reports that his wife, Joan Lee, was the victim of elder abuse.

One of Stan's ex-business partners - the article didn't say which one - went to the police with photos of bruises on the arms of Joan Lee. The individual claimed that the couple's daughter had pushed Joan, abusing her and causing the bruises to appear.

When the police spoke with Stan and Joan, they made it clear that there was no abuse going on whatsoever. Being 93 years old, Joan just bruises easily and there was nothing else to it. The police also went and spoke to the daughter separately, and concluded that there was no abuse to be found.

The photos that were shown to the police were discovered to be three years old, not recent in any way. Why would a 3-year-old picture come to light now?

The police stated that the nameless ex-partner claimed that he felt bad for staying silent for so long. It had been eating away at him, not telling anyone of the "abuse" so it was time to come forward.

As you'd imagine, Stan Lee tells quite a different story. According to the comic creator, the individual is just bitter that the two no longer work together. His motivation is nothing more than jealousy.

So, fans can breathe easy. Both Lee's are totally fine, and there's no abuse to be found.
